A painting inspired by a perfect pastel sunset, watching the waves wash in and out along the shore. I find it so mesmerising watching the patterns the water makes as it swirls over the sand and then recedes back into the ocean, and I loved the challenge of trying to capture that within this painting. These types of sunsets will always feel like a little piece of magic to me.
