A painting inspired by a brilliant supermoon rising above Ocean Grove Main Beach, looking towards Pt Lonsdale on the Bellarine Peninsula. On this perfectly clear evening the full moon shone in a lilac-coloured sky as moonlight sparkled on the ocean below. As if the evening wasn’t already beautiful enough, the Spring dunes were in flower, bursting with beard heath and wattle which perfumed the air with their sweet scents. A truly magical evening full of so much inspiration.
