An oil painting inspired by an evening on Killarney beach, near Port Fairy, watching a full moon rising above the dunes in a peachy Summer sky.

In this piece I experimented with capturing the feeling of being by the ocean without actually depicting it, focusing instead on another element of the coast which I love—the dunes. To me, the dunes are just as quintessential to the beach as the ocean and I hope this painting gives you the feeling of being by the coast.

This is the original painting and the only one of its kind.
