A painting I created in 2025—inspired by a late Winter walk through Point Addis National Park, along sun-drenched paths lined with golden wattle. Point Addis is one of my absolute favourite places and I always feel so inspired when I’m there, in awe of all the colours and textures of nature.
On this particular day the warm air was thick with the sweet scent of wattle and walking through the dappled sunlight felt so special.
I kept this painting fairly loose; focusing less on details + more on capturing the feeling of a place. I hope this piece transports you there.
