A painting inspired by the first sunset of 2023 over Back Beach, Point Lonsdale, which is one of my favourite spots along the coast. I love the walk down onto the beach through the dunes—full of colour and life—and the way they lead out to the most beautiful view of the ocean. On this particular evening the sea seemed to glow underneath the setting sun, enticing me down to the shore.

This is the original painting and the only one of its kind.
