A painting inspired by an early morning walk along Thirteenth Beach in Barwon Heads, waiting for the sun to rise. On this particular morning I had the beach to myself, watching as the sky slowly lit up in shades of soft blue and purple. These quiet, peaceful moments are the ones I love the most.

This piece was chosen as a gallery finalist in the Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Prize 2023, held in Brisbane.

This is the original painting and the only one of its kind.
